Pre-Sales Consultant

The Role

This is a crucial sales-oriented role in the organisation, applying your NetSuite (and surrounding ecosystem) knowledge with creative flair and persuasive presentation to scope, design and sell solutions alongside our sales team. Your work will apply both to net new clients, as well as assisting with upsell work to existing customers.

You’ll use your judgment to know when to use the core system, when to customise, and when to use third-party solutions. You will also work closely with the project delivery team on the scope of your solutions.

Main tasks, duties and responsibilities

This role involves tight collaboration with the sales team, and you are a team player.

  • Ultimately, the role’s focus is on delivering a great service to both potential and existing clients while convincing them to buy compelling NetSuite solutions from NoBlue2 that improve their business.
  • Understanding and persuasively explaining the competitive business proposition of NetSuite and NoBlue2.
  • Consultative requirements gathering and understanding client business processes for both new business and existing clients.
  • Delivering creative and compelling NetSuite demonstrations showcasing functionality and your understanding of client needs.
  • Coordination at pace amongst the Functional team, Technical team, Sales team & client.
  • Prepare presentation slides, business proposals, responses to RFP and Statements of Work.
  • Ongoing professional development and research into NetSuite functionality so you’re always on top of new, released and forthcoming features.
  • Assist & jointly execute a kick-off/hand-over meeting upon successful win to the project team.
  • Provide constructive feedback on our sales approach compared to the wider market competition and assist with retrospective reviews after each deal.
  • Contributing to organisational best practices, i.e. sharing your ideas! We’re growing quickly and can always improve.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Skills / Qualifications requirements

  • Experience of successfully working in pre-sales or consulting with NetSuite.
  • Experience of capturing and documenting customer needs and playing this back creatively via demonstrations and presentations.
  • Experience of presenting to a variety of stakeholders, including C-Level and building rapport.
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines, aligned to sales cycles and ‘making things happen’.
  • A highly self-motivated and proactive approach to business.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly as required during the sales process.
