Background

RIXO is a London-based fashion brand known for its vintage-inspired occasion wear. Founded by Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey in 2015, RIXO started from a student flat with a vision of creating ‘future vintage’ clothing – high-quality, rich fabrics and prints in small, individual runs.

The brand quickly gained traction, selling through major retailers like Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, and Harrods, achieving £1m in revenue in its first year. Since then, RIXO has grown into a £20 million multi-channel business with a flagship store on Kings Road, wholesale partnerships, and a thriving e-commerce presence.

Initial Challenges

Prior to implementing NetSuite, RIXO relied on a mix of Google Sheets, Slack messages, WhatsApp, and

QuickBooks, leading to:

  • Frequent errors and inefficiencies due to lack of structured workflows.
  • Disconnected systems with poor integration across finance, stock, and logistics.
  • Difficulty managing international growth and compliance with multi-country tax regulations.

Solution

NoBlue2's Approach

RIXO partnered with NoBlue2 for a Greenfield NetSuite implementation to provide structure and scalability. The focus was on automating processes, integrating platforms, and improving decision-making capabilities.

Implementation Details

Given the complexities of fashion retail, NoBlue2 customised the solution to address RIXO’s specific needs, ensuring seamless integration across departments.

  • NetSuite ERP: Standardised financials, inventory, and logistics in a single system.
  • Fashion-Specific Enhancements: Custom-built integrations with Shopify and Joor to streamline order and inventory management, automate product listings, and improve processing across retail and wholesale channels.
  • NetSuite Warehouse Management System: Enabled seamless warehouse management, integrating with carriers like Royal Mail, DPD, and DHL for efficient pick, pack, and dispatch operations.

The implementation was installed efficiently with minimal operational disruption.

NoBlue2 provided ongoing support and training to ensure RIXO’s team could maximise NetSuite’s capabilities. The solution has since evolved, incorporating advanced reporting, automation, and integrations with AI-driven tools for merchandising and demand forecasting.

Results and Outcomes

Quantifiable Success

With NetSuite fully integrated, RIXO has significantly improved operational efficiency. Implementing repeatable, automated processes has reduced manual errors, making inventory and financial management more accurate and streamlined. The ability to integrate all operations into one system has allowed for greater efficiency in order processing, inventory tracking, and warehouse operations. They have:

  • Reduced order errors by automating order processing and integrating inventory management.
  • Faster fulfilment times with improved warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Greater financial accuracy with centralised reporting and compliance with multi-country tax regulations.
  • Improved demand planning by leveraging real-time sales and inventory data.

RIXO now benefits from real-time reporting and enhanced visibility across all departments, allowing the business to make data-driven decisions confidently. The structured system has also enabled RIXO to scale operations effectively as they expand internationally, ensuring smooth logistics and compliance with various tax regulations.

Qualitative Benefits

  • Greater agility to respond to market demands, including innovations like Preorders and Try Before You Buy.
  • A structured ERP system replacing the previous unstructured, reactive business operations.
  • Stronger foundation for international expansion, supporting RIXO’s growth into the US and Ireland.

Conclusion

RIXO’s journey with NoBlue2 and NetSuite has resulted in a more structured, scalable, and efficient operation. With seamless system integration, enhanced analytics, and automated workflows, they have been able to pivot quickly to market changes and drive international growth.

Looking ahead, RIXO plans to triple its sales, leveraging NetSuite’s capabilities in multi-subsidiary management, AI-driven merchandising, and global tax compliance. With NoBlue2’s continued support, RIXO is well-positioned to become a truly global fashion brand.
