Let’s dive in…

Enhanced Customer 360 Metrics and Data Visibility

Customer 360 continues to evolve in 2025.2, making it easier to view and act on customer data across multiple touchpoints.

Key enhancements include:

  • Opportunities and Estimates – Four metrics (Projected Total, Weighted Total, Opportunities Won and Estimates Converted) now include direct links to workbooks for deeper data analysis.
  • Orders and Returns – Metrics such as Orders in the Year, Returns in the Year, In Progress Orders and Average Order Value also include links to workbooks, providing greater insight.
  • Receivables – Open Invoices, Overdue Invoices and Available Credit Memos now feature links to customer-specific workbooks for detailed analysis.
  • New Activity Tab – Expanding on Recent Activities shown within the Overview page, this new tab details a full list of customer activities and transactions, including Sales Order invoices, Credit Memos and Return Authorisations.
  • See Customer History Link – Now directs to the new Activity Tab, offering a more comprehensive view of customer interactions.

These updates enable faster access to detailed customer information, supporting better decision-making across departments.

Warehouse Management Enhancements

The 2025.2 Release adds practical improvements to warehouse operations:

  • Bin Blocking Enhancements – Block bins via the Bin Empty button within the Work Order Picking process, with Smart Count integration to spot count and unblock items when needed.
  • New Filters for Bulk Pick Assignment – Assign pick tasks for items by process group or family, streamlining bulk pick operations, using the Bulk Pick Task Assignment facility.
  • Auto-generation of Serial Numbers – When using the Lot Auto Numbering SuiteApp, you can now automatically generate serial numbers upon receiving Purchase Orders or Building Assemblies for Work Orders.

Revenue Recognition Enhancements

NetSuite 2025.2 brings targeted updates to simplify revenue recognition setup and reduce manual tasks:

  • Field Mapping for Identical Custom Fields – NetSuite 2025.2 allows you to create revenue recognition field maps even when the same custom field is selected for both the Source Field and Target Field. This improvement eliminates the need for manual updates to the target field whenever the source field value changes, thereby reducing administrative overhead and enhancing data consistency in revenue recognition workflows.
  • Direct Revenue Posting for ARM Workflows – NetSuite 2025.2 introduces the ability to configure SuiteFlow to automatically post transactions directly to item revenue accounts via the new Direct Revenue Posting option. This update is especially useful for businesses that recognise revenue at the point of sale, reducing manual adjustments and streamlining accounting workflows.

NetSuite Connector for Outlook

The NetSuite Connector for Outlook will be available in the Microsoft 365 App Store for customers in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Outlook – NetSuite integration ensures data synchronisation by seamlessly connecting Outlook with NetSuite, eliminating the need for manual data updates between the two systems.

Near Match Duplicate Detection

The NetSuite 2025.2 release includes an enhanced Near Match Detection feature for identifying duplicate records—such as customer and vendor data—based on similar rather than exact matches. This improvement is available to users whose accounts use Latin or Cyrillic characters.

Previously, duplicates were only flagged when identical information was entered. The updated feature now detects duplicates caused by misspellings, typos, or slight variations. When near duplicates are found, a notification banner will alert users to potential records that may be merged.

Additional Enhancements

Other key updates in 2025.2 include:

  • SaaS Metrics Reporting – This feature gives a comprehensive view of recurring revenue data. It automatically generates key metrics (new, upsell, downsell, churn) for tracked items, simplifying recurring revenue analysis.
  • NetSuite Expert in SuiteAnswers – Say goodbye to results overload. Ask questions in plain English and receive AI-enhanced, focused answers, improving search relevance and saving valuable time.
  • New Project Manager Role – A standard role with predefined permissions granting access to Project Management features such as managing projects, resources, time and expenses.
  • Multiple NetSuite Sessions per User – NetSuite now supports multiple sessions per user, allowing you to log in across multiple devices or browsers simultaneously.
  • Improved Bank Reconciliation – Bulk selection and processing on Match Bank Data and Reconcile Account Statement pages streamlines transaction management.
  • Expedited Option for Planned Purchase Orders – Mark orders as “To Be Expedited” to prioritise urgent requirements.
  • Expedited Option on Planned Purchase Orders and Order Items Pages – A new “To Be Expedited” checkbox has been introduced on the Planned Purchase Orders and Order Items pages. Prioritise critical orders by those requiring urgent processing and ensure they are managed more efficiently within procurement workflows.
