About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant. This is a crucial sales-oriented role in the organisation, applying your NetSuite (and surrounding ecosystem) knowledge with creative flair and persuasive presentation to scope, design and sell solutions alongside our sales team. Your work will apply both to prospective customers, as well as assisting with upsell work to existing customers.
You’ll use your judgement to know when to configure the core system, when to customise, and when to recommend third party solutions, and will work closely with the project delivery team on the scope of your solutions.
Ultimately, the focus of the role is to deliver a great service to both potential and existing clients, whilst convincing them to buy compelling NetSuite solutions from NoBlue2 which improve their business operations.
What Good Looks Like
- Discovery sessions are structured, insightful, and uncover both stated and unstated client needs.
- Proposed solutions are well-aligned to client objectives, technically viable, and scoped to delivery capability.
- Supporting documentation is accurate, clear, and reusable across engagements.
- Demos and presentations are well-prepared, audience-relevant and build confidence at all levels – from end-users to C-Suite.
- Handover into delivery is seamless – risks are flagged, expectations are aligned and scope is clear.
- Internal collaboration is strong – feedback loops between Sales, Delivery, and Product help continuously improve solution quality.
What You’ll Do
- Understand and persuasively explain the competitive business proposition of NetSuite and NoBlue2.
- Consultative requirements gathering and understanding client business processes for both new business and existing clients.
- Deliver creative and compelling NetSuite demonstrations showcasing functionality and your understanding of client needs.
- Work closely (and at pace) with the Client and your colleagues at NoBlue2 in the Functional team, Technical team & Sales team.
- Prepare presentation slides, solution overviews, business proposals, responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Ongoing professional development and research into NetSuite functionality so you’re always on top of new features, both released and forthcoming.
- Assist & jointly execute a kick-off/hand-over meeting upon successful win to the project team.
- Provide constructive feedback on our approach to sales compared to the wider market competition and assist with retrospective reviews after each deal.
- Contribute to organisational best practices, i.e. sharing your ideas! We’re growing quickly and can always improve.
About You
- Experience of successfully working in pre-sales or consulting with NetSuite.
- Experience of capturing and documenting customer needs and playing this back creatively via demonstrations and presentations.
- Experience of presenting to a variety of stakeholders, including C-Level and building rapport.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working to deadlines, aligned to sales cycles and ‘making things happen’.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive approach to business.
- A ‘team player’ – happy to work in tight collaboration with other teams in the business.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly as required during the sales process
